Choir "Vesnianka" is the upgrade concert group of the National Children's Choral Studio "VESNIANKA". The studio was formed in 1961 (2011 - Jubilee). The upgrade choir consists of girls and boys aged 10-18.

For many years choir "Vesnianka" takes part in contests and festivals. It is laureate of the International contest "Children in Art" (Moscow, 1992), International Slavonic Assembly "Friendship" (1992), laureate (I place) of number of Moscow contests  "Young talents of Moscovia" (1993-2011), laureate of the International Children Competitions in Moscow (1996-2011), laureate (I place) of the XXIV International May Choir Competition "Prof. G.Dimitrov" (Varna, Bulgaria, 1996), laureate of the First International Festival for Choral Music (Munich, Germany, 2000).
In August 2001 our choir was invited by the Croatian embassy to take part in the Summer Dubrovnik Festival (Dubrovnik, Croatia). Besides being laureate of that Festival our choir was given the honour of calling "the main musical event of the year".

Concert choir "Vesnianka" was invited to make a concert tour in Germany and Austria in October of 2002. The invitation was made by the burgomasters of Füssen and Augsburg. That tour contained number of concerts in the different halls and churches (including participation in Christian services) of Germany and Austria. The same tours were made in autumn of 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2009 in the South Bavaria region. Due to these tours our choir obtained the public and professional recognition in the number of towns in Germany.
The choir was also invited to take part in the 42nd International Choral Competition "C. A. Seghizzi" which took place in Gorizia (Italy) and in the choral Festival "SEGHIZZINREGIONE" (choral concert circuit in region Friuli Venezia Giulia).
During the year of 2003 choir "Vesnianka" participated in several concerts dedicated to the anniversary of the great Russian composer Sergey Rakhmaninov which took place in the Church of the Great Ascension and in the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
Our choir has a friendly collaboration with the Men's Monastic Choir of the Moscow St. Daniil Monastery (attached to the Moscow Patriarchy of the whole Russia). During number of years we are making common cultural projects and concerts. Great plans are also in the future.
At the end of 2003 choir "Vesnianka" took part in the significant concert of the famous Russian Ensemble of Soloists of the Moscow Philharmonic "Concertino" in the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. There is also a creative collaboration between our concert groups.
In May 2005 our choir was invited to Great Britain (invitation made by Kenwood Corp.) to perform number of concerts and participate in the Second East London Sangerstevne Choral Festival.
In June 2006 the younger part of the choir took part in the 35th Choral Singing Competition in Tours, France and successfully won it.
In 2010-2011 choir "Vesnianka" made special tours to Belorussia, Ukraine and Moldova with master-classes, concerts and excursions. Local choir conductors and musicians were impressed by those performances.

Leader and conductor of the choir – Lyubov Aldakova. She is graduated from the Russian Music Academy named after the Gnesins. For 25 years she leads the Children Concert Choir "Vesnianka". Lyubov Aldakova is a member of the Presidium of Moscow Choirs Association and a member of the Presidium of Moscow Musical Society. In 2005 she was conferred the rank of "Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation" by the President's decree.

The repertoire of the choir is mostly of classical character. The group sings choirs from operas of Russian compositors, Russian and foreign gospel music, the ancient songs. There are programs wholly dedicated to creations of Bach, Handel, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Mozart. Choir presents also folk music of Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Italy and other countries. There are several modern compositions in the repertoire.

One of choir's traditions is the presentation of compositions on their original languages, such as English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Latin, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Slovak, Croatian and many others.
